Up close with nature holiday
We had a lovely two weeks away in Anglesey in this cottage. The location of the cottage is quite remote but that is what we were looking for, however, if you wanted a bit of life nearby then you would be disappointed. There is a beautiful estuary that you can walk along to the Irish Sea and beach and lots of sand dune fields and cliffs to walk on but only one small pub (which does do wonderful food) and a Post Office that stocks bare essentials like bread and milk. That aside the cottage is lovely and clean, the bedrooms are quite large and the bed we had was comfortable. The settee and seating areas were comfortable with a large screen TV. However, only basic channels are available but we took our Amazon Fire Stick which worked perfectly with the WIFI. The kitchen was fully equipped with a washing machine too. Only down side was the gardens. The back garden is just a large square with quarry stones on the floor which are sharp and you need shoes on before you could step into the garden. This place would not be suitable for a small child and our dogs were not particularly happy either. There is also a low wall on the side of the back garden which is next to a huge field with a park in it, so not much privacy plus the breeze blows straight across the garden, so we did not utilise it at all. On a plus side the owner of the cottage sorted out a bad smell problem within 2 hours of us advising him and left a bottle of champagne in the fridge to apologise and kept in contact with us to make sure it never returned. You can't ask for more than that. Need a car to start exploring Anglesey and very close to Snowdonia Park and mountains which make an awesome backdrop to Anglesey. All of the island is picturesque with lots of lovely places to eat and drink, walk and have fun. The dogs were shattered when we got home too.

Lovely house
Very nice clean house in a good central location. Aberffraw has great walks, great beach, nice friendly pub with good good!

The house was very comfortable, it was so quiet and peaceful. It was a lovely walk along the estuary to the most beautiful beach. The surrounding areas also had beautiful bays and beaches, it is an area of truly outstanding natural beauty.
