Dirt and Dust !!!
This is a delightful converted farmhouse, spacious, quiet with stunning views from all the windows. In this respect, without doubt THE best cottage we have ever stayed in. However, this was THE dirtiest. Cobwebs and dust everywhere and a kitchen that would have scores 1 in a hygiene inspection. We spent the first 2hrs cleaning and it spoilt our holiday. We complained on our return and it took 3 months of high pressure complaining with Sykes Cottages before we received an agreed compensation. Tip..... Stay here, I'm sure you will enjoy it, BUT get assurance that the property has been properly cleaned.

What a great place to stay. The house was brilliant; well equipped and very spacious with a lovely outlook over the fields. We were on a annual fishing trip, fishing the carp lakes around the lovely Lincolnshire Wolds. The owners were very helpful and we had a wonderful week, I would recommend this as a holiday base in a perfect location with great owners only a hundred yards away. Perfect.
Mr Townshend

The property was surrounded by fields and was a perfect holiday for chilling out. No light pollution at night resulted in a sky full of stars which was amazing. The property itself was large and spacious and beautifully maintained.
Mrs Old

The property was nice and large and as expected the area was very peaceful, an ideal place to get away from it all. Excellent National Trust properties, people very nice to talk to, nothing was too much trouble.
Mr Allen

An excellent base to explore the surrounding areas. Had a big garden in a quiet rural location - perfect for children young and old. A spacious house with lovely conservatory - great to unwind in the evenings.
