A lovely stone building, probably dating to the 17th or possibly the 18th century. The building takes its name from the fact that a synagogue stood near the site in the early Middle Ages. An alternative theory is that Jews Court is actually built upon the site of a 12th-century synagogue. Beside Jews Court is Jews House, an 11th-century building which may be the oldest occupied house in Europe.
