Cemetery Gate

Cemetery Gate gave access for lay people to the grounds of St Augustine's Abbey. It was built sometime in the middle to late 14th century and stands only a stone's throw south of Fyndon Gate. Now in private hands but you can easily view the ornate gateway from Monastery Street.
