08/06/2002 Entry: "London Eye River Cruise Experience"

London Eye River Cruise Experience
Visitors can now combine a ‘flight’ on British Airways London Eye with a 45-minute cruise on the Thames. The boat departs from a pier next to the Eye and takes in the Tower of London and Houses of Parliament.

The London Eye was recently named one of the "Seven Wonders of Britain" in a poll of English residents undertaken by the English Tourist Board.

Six cruises are running from the Eye every day from 1 August to 6 September, they will then run every weekend until the end of the year. The combined price is £19.50 for adults, £17.50 for Seniors and £10 for children. Disabled guests receive a £3 discount and may bring a carer with them for free.
