Witley Court Fountain Restored
Providing a spectacle for the eyes and a boost to the spirits is the dramatic Perseus and Andromeda Fountain at Witley Court, Worcestershire - now partially restored after 70 years and firing on 29 jets. Its main jet reaches 90 foot into the sky.

Centenary of Flight at the Guildhall Library in London
A free exhibition at The Guildhall Library in London celebrates a 100 years of flight. Centenary of Flight marks the anniversary of the Wright brothers' first powered flight and features prints, cartoons, photographs, travel brochures, playing cards and other items with images from the last 100 years of flight in the capital.

Scarborough Spa Express opens
Regular steam train journeys from the historic City of York and the seaside resort of Scarborough are now available. West Coast Railway Company, the specialist steam train operator, has re-introduced the popular "Scarborough Spa Express", with two trains per day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from the 15th of July to the 28th of August 2003.
