We encourage submissions to our UK Travel Ticker from travel bureaus, tourist information centres, tour operators, and any travel-related business.

What's suitable for submission?
Events with a heritage theme, or those related to historic properties.
Travel promotions, discounts, and announcements of interest to travellers, both those from abroad and those within the UK.
News releases relative to UK travel, for example: news of attractions, publications, events, celebrations, accommodation venues offering special promotions.

What's not suitable for submission?
Blatant advertisements, web site links (see our UK Links submissions page to submit a website to our directory), anything outside the UK.

Does it cost to submit?
No, submitting a newsworthy item is free.

To suggest an item just email us with the details - don't forget the date and location, if applicable. All submissions are subject to editorial approval, but if we think it is something worthy of note by people planning travel to or within the UK, your submission will be added promptly. Please do not resubmit an item, unless you have good reason to believe your first submission was not received.

All travel ticker items are archived after one week, and will remain publicly accessible through our archives.
