Allhallows Museum of Lace and Local Antiquities
Honiton, Devon, England
A fascinating museum of local history housed in the oldest building in Honiton; the 14th-century All Hallows Chapel. The museum holds one of the largest collections of Honiton lace in the world, plus displays on Allhallows School, local pottery, Honiton at war, and children's toys. Look for the fossilised remains of the Honiton Hippo, which lived here over 135 million years ago.
