Travel from Laxton to the picturesque market towns of Newark on Trent and its famous antique fairs Retford or Southwell famed by its magnificent Minster. Within easy commuter distance too the larger cities of Nottingham or Lincoln. We have two letting rooms at The Dovecote. They have recently been completely refurbished and redecorated and are situated in a pretty barn conversion opposite the pub premises. The rooms retain their original beams and both have low windows looking over the barn's own garden.

They offer every modern comfort with a fridge in the room a bowl of fresh fruit to greet you and all the facilities to make your own continental breakfast when you choose.
