Weald and Downland Living Museum photo, Titchfield Market Hall

This timber framed market hall was built in 1620 and is typical of many 16th and 17th century market halls, with an open space below for selling goods under cover, and a meeting place on the first floor to act as council chambers. There is a small lockup under the stairs. The building was dismantled in 1971.
