The property also has a ground-floor bathroom, living/dining room, kitchen and first-floor sitting room with woodburning stove.

Outside is driveway parking as well as an enclosed rear courtyard with furniture. The Pend is a fascinating base for a wonderful stay in this part of Scotland.

Beautiful, warm house with loads of character
We've stayed here twice and are going back again this year. Look at the photos of the house and you'll see why. A 4 poster bed, tapestries, a coat of armour, a log fire as well as mod cons like central heating, a dish washer and washing machine. The bus to the Isle of Whithorn goes from near by. Whithorn Abbey is 50m away. A good area for walking or cycling. Cliff top walks, historic monuments. There is a small secluded back yard to have drinks in. This is a beautiful, unique house in a lovely area.
