Hardknott Roman Fort, Eskdale
Hardknott Roman Fort at dawn. The location is breathtaking, and the views are wonderful. It is hard to get to, which is part of its appeal. The road is narrow and extremely steep, so great care is necessary, but the rewards make the trip well worth it!
