Accommodation Description:

Welcome to the Blue Anchor. The Blue Anchor is a beautifully converted 16th century coaching inn. The boutique five room hotel and restaurant is nestled in the village of Feering, Essex.

Opened September 2013 after an extensive refurbishment transforming a former 16th century coaching inn into an open and more inviting space with stylish and contemporary finishes creating a homely feel combined with a welcoming atmosphere. Feering is a lovely rural village with a small local friendly village feel yet a strategic location enabling easy travel from Colchester, Chelmsford, and London. Its ancient centre located around All Saints Church is listed in the doomsday book although the village has grown considerably since medieval days and now stretches from the river Blackwater at the border with Kelvedon in the south to the A120 in the north.

If you are thinking of having an extended stay in the area then do look for our very special rates for a 2 Night Weekend stay. Please note - we are unable to accept online reservations for the same day after 6pm. We may still have rooms available but to check availability please contact us directly on 01376 571783.

We look forward to welcoming you to The Blue Anchor.
