Bradgate Park began as a medieval deer park over 800 years ago. Deer still roam the park, through a designed Victorian landscape, past the ruins of the Tudor mansion of Bradgate House (birthplace of Lady Jane Grey) and under the shadow of an iconic 18th-century Gothic folly known as Old John Tower.
