Bronllys Castle photo, Bronllys Castle

Bronllys Castle is one of the lesser known castles in south Wales, standing in wooded isolation near the village of Bronllys, on the fringes of the Brecon Beacons. Bronllys consists of a 12th century stone keep on top of an earlier motte. Only the round round keep survives to any extent, but the keep still stands to a height of 80 feet.
