Brodick Castle photo, Brodick Castle

Brodick Castle stands on the northern fringe of Brodick town, on the east coast of Arran. The castle dates to the 13th century, though much of what we can see today is the result of an 18th century rebuilding. The castle is surrounded by Victorian gardens, and paths lead through the estate to the summit of Goatfell.
