Travel information for White Castle
White Castle was built at the same time as Grosmont and Skenfrith to guard the main transportation route from Hereford into south Wales. Of the three, White Castle gets my vote as the most interesting. The lovely turreted walls are set within a deep moat, and you can climb the towers for wonderful views.
