Yorkshire iPhone app

If you have an iPhone you might want to head on over to Yorkshire.com. The official tourism website for Yorkshire has released an app for the popular iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch platforms, which will allow users to instantly access information on places to visit across the county.
I confess I've been enviously eying the new Apple iPhones, and this app may be the final straw that prompts me to take out my wallet and buy one!
The Yorkshire app has information on historic visitor attractions, leisure activities, and places to eat around the county. There's a 'Ten of the Best' feature of recommended places to visit, and local weather forecasts to help you plan a trip.
And you can't beat the price - the Welcome to Yorkshire app is completely free.

Sadly, the Yorkshire iPhone app is no longer available :-(
