Travelodge Special Deals

Here's a heads-up of a deal that might prove useful if you are planning some travel this year and know the exact dates of your trip. Travelodge is having one of their periodic pre-booking sales. If you aren't familiar with Travelodge special deals, they frequently offer pre-booking at quite amazing rates, as low as £10 per room on a recent special.
The current deals are:
Rooms from £19 (must book at least 21 days ahead). Valid for stays until 31 October 2011
Rooms from £29 (must book at least 7 days ahead)
These cheap rates are usually only valid for one night stays, so check the fine print before booking if you are planning a longer stay.

We've stayed at Travelodge several times. The rooms are pretty basic, nothing terribly exciting, but they have been clean and tidy, and generally convenient for larger centres. And the rates are good, even if you don't take advantage of the specials by prebooking!
