Real ales wines ciders and lagers are available from the bar as well as a range of other drinks to suit all tastes. We also serve freshly ground Illy coffee and 28 different flavours of tea! You can also dine alfresco on our patio the only place in town to enjoy dinner or a drink that gets all day sunshine in the spring and summer months.

Built around 1280AD on the site of a Motte and Bailey castle The Mount Inn stands in a prominent position at the head of the main road through Llanidloes facing the centuries old market hall. In the heart of the inn the snug area includes a tiled floor originating from the castle as well as 600 year old settles forming a secluded area to meet up with friends to eat and drink. There is also a family and games room with a pool table and large screen TV showing select sports including rugby football and F1.

Families can dine here and keep an eye on busy children who can help themselves to the toy box or board games provided. Around Llanidloes there are some excellent walking destinations with a firm favourite being to find the source of the Severn through the Hafren forest. There are golf courses and clay pigeon shooting ranges close by and for bikers there is the chance to partake in Geraint Jones Yamaha offroading experience.

There are also some excellent cycling routes in and around the area to enjoy. Dog walkers are more than welcome at The Mount. If you're looking for a friendly warm and comfortable place to stay then look no further than The Mount Inn.
