 Nevern, St Brynach
  

St Brynach Named after St Brynach of Pembrokeshire who founded a place of worship here in the 5th century. The church was on the pilgrimage route to St. David's. It has a post-Norman tower. The 13ft high, 10th-11th century patterned Celtic cross (in the churchyard) is notable among the collection of 6th century engraved Celtic memorial stones (one is carved with Latin and Ogham writing) and a pilgrim's cross. The churchyard contains cypress trees and ancient yews (147 species).

 Newport, St Woolos Cathedral
  

St Woolos Cathedral A parish church designated as a cathedral in 1930. The 11th century nave contains many Norman features. There is a 15th century tower. Some of the columns may be Roman in origin. A stained glass window in the east end is notable.

 Nicholaston, St Nicholas
  

St Nicholas Remains of Celtic cross slab in the porch. The church is a Victorian restoration of an earlier one. The interior contains several kinds of marble and alabaster.

 Old Radnor, St Stephen
  

The 15th-16th century Perpendicular style church is sited on a high hillside. The tower has arrowslits and battlements. The font may be 8th century. The church contains a 15th century stained glass window and 18th century monuments. The 15th screen that goes across the nave and aisles is considered the best in Wales. The early 16th century organ case is also decorated and is thought to be the oldest in Britain.

St Illtyd A medieval church with battlemented tower and painted chancel ceiling. It is supposed to mark the site of the original cell of St Illtyd.
