In the local area, there are so many activities for you to fill your days with, including local fishing on arrangement, a variety of trails for hiking or cycling including the Malt Whisky trail, where you will be able to sample local whisky at seven working distilleries. There is also the option to head further afield to Huntly, a local town, where you will find more convenience stores, as well as a variety of ships, pubs and restaurants and from here you will have easy access to historical sites such as Maiden Stone and Huntly Castle, or you can head over to the nearby local outdoor ski centre for a more adrenaline filled activity.
