The village of Eyam is seeped in history and with a museum stately home and craft centre there is much to occupy guests simply on the doorstep. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the small towns of Bakewell, Buxton, and Castleton all have unique offerings with markets, stunning architecture, beautiful countryside, caves and much more.
At Innisfree Cottage there are three guest rooms to choose from all providing a perfect escape to unwind and relax. Our double ensuite has stunning uninterrupted views towards Bretton and is the largest of the three rooms. The twin room with private external bathroom with bath and a shower has views over the village and adjoining fields.
There is a further double room situated on the ground floor which has a private external bathroom with shower. Our rooms are not huge but we take pride in going the extra mile with a full range of speciality teas hot chocolate and coffee. Complimentary biscuits chocolates robes and fresh flowers every day provide a touch of luxury at affordable prices.
Our guest reviews reflect the cleanliness and attention to detail that we offer. A three course breakfast is included in all room rates and our guest dining room provides individual guest tables set within a bright sunny room. In addition to the traditional full English breakfast we also offer an array of alternatives such as kippers continental omelettes or why not try our Innisfree Special for a taste of something different.
Visitors from overseas requiring a more European breakfast such as cheeses and ham are catered for on request. We also offer a full vegetarian or gluten free menu. Eyam is famous as the historic plague village; the stories behind this are depicted in the village museum and church.
The original cottages and buildings from the era still remain and can be visited by guests as they wander through the village.
