The Naunton Dovecote is an outstanding example of a 16th or 17th-century dovecote standing in an idyllic location beside the River Windrush. The dovecote originally featured 1,175 nesting boxes but only some 900 are still active. Also on the site are a derelict turbine house and a water leat from when the dovecote served as a grain mill.

The oldest stone single-span bridge in England, designed by Thomas Telford in 1825 to replace a Tudor bridge, spanning the River Severn on the main western approach to Gloucester. Telford's first design was a cast-iron bridge, but the city council thought it not dignified enough. The stone replacement served for over 140 years before it was replaced by a modern road bridge.
