Charney Manor is a Quaker Conference and Retreat Centre set in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside offering an attractive rural setting spacious grounds and a sense of history. Parts of the Manor date back to the 13th Century. We offer a variety of meeting rooms and facilities in a peaceful setting which provides an Ideal venue for conferences training events retreats and Bed & Breakfast stays.

Charney Manor offers simple comfortable accommodation. Most of the bedrooms are en-suite with Two having private bathrooms outside the bedrooms. Some bedrooms also retain their period features such as oak-beamed ceilings open fire places and stone lead glass windows.
All bedrooms come equipped with tea and coffee making facilities towels complimentary shower gel and most have exquisite views of the Gardens. It also features free WiFi throughout and free parking. Although Charney Manor does not have Televisions in their bedrooms however there is a Television room that can be used by Guests during their stay.
Dining at Charney Manor is provided in our 13th Century character filled dining room with lovely stone carved windows which look out onto the beautiful gardens. We offer a continental breakfast as standard. With prior request two course Lunch and evening meals can also be provided.
Charney Manor is renowned for its high quality traditional home cooked meals which are freshly prepared on site with our ingredients being sourced locally if possible. We are also able to cater for a range of alternative diets with prior notice. Guests can explore and enjoy the 3 acres of beautiful grounds which include a fruit orchard paddock and tranquil seating areas.
There are lovely walks through the old village and along the meandering River Ock. The Manor is situated next to St Peters Church parts of the church date back to the 12th Century. Charney Manor is perfectly positioned with easy reach of Oxford the White horse hill and the famous Cotswolds so favoured by walkers cyclists and sightseers
