A friendly family-run Guesthouse offering Bed & Breakfast in Whitby. Situated on Whitby's popular West Cliff the Riviera offers ideal accommodation with stunning views over the North Sea and Whitby Pier/Harbour Entrance. The en-suite rooms are tastefully decorated and well equipped.

The Guesthouse is in a fabulous location. It is a 'stones throw' away from the beach and within walking distance of the vibrant fishing harbour town local amenities and tourist attractions (e.g. Captain Cook's Museum Whitby Abbey with it's famous 199 steps and Pannett Park).

The Riviera is also situated opposite Whitby Pavillion/Spa where many events are held throughout the year. Whatever your interests - walking cycling fishing culture/sightseeing business friend/family get together or simply a break away the Riviera offers a warm welcome to all guests old and new. The Guesthouse has 15 rooms available which are all tastefully decorated and will offer luxurious comfort.

With a mixture of king double family/twin (double bed and single bed) and single rooms we are sure to be able to meet your booking requirements. The rooms have en-suite facilities and all rooms are well equipped with an LCD television with freeview channels a refreshment tray and complimentary toiletries. Iron facilities and hairdryers are available upon request.

Free WiFi is also available. Sadly we do not provide our own private parking however there is public parking available. Depending on the season this is either free or requires a permit obtainable from the Guesthouse on arrival.

Children are welcome to stay at the Riviera however we do not allow pets (apart from guide dogs). We have a strict non-smoking policy for the comfort of all our guests. The Riviera has been passed onto it's second generation and continues to uphold it's brilliant reputation and fantastic friendly service.
