Kelspoke Castle

I debated whether to include Kelspoke in the gallery of Scottish Castles, but I decided to do so simply for the wonderful views from the castle site. The very paltry ruins of Kelspoke stand on a hill overlooking Kilchattan Bay, on the south eastern tip of Bute. Little is known about the site, indeed the designation 'castle' only appears in the 19th century.
