Travel information for Aberystwyth Castle
Aberyswyth Castle is a late 13th century stronghold built by Edward I to contain the threat posed by the Welsh prince Llewelyn ap Gruffudd. It was begun following Edward's first Welsh campaign in 1277, and completed in 1289.
