Weekend visit
Lovely cottage situated in a great position to visit and explore Somerset. Surprisingly large, spotlessly clean, comfortable, contemporary and traditional mix of decor in a separate annexe to main house, filled with everything you need, but supermarket and garage 10 minute drive away should you need anything. Limited but sufficient space for parking on drive for one car, follow the clear instructions and you will easily find the cottage entrance and drive, but it is on brow of hill. Fresh baked muffins appreciated after a long day out, left at the door - thank you. Good walks around village for dog, lot of local tourist info to inspire. Good trip.

Joyful I have to start with the crowning glory, the beds and bed linen. We can not remember sleeping so soundly, despite the recurring church bells. Luckily mummy loved the kitchen, which is it not my domain The photographs do not do the propert justice, especially the Harry Potter fireplace. A shame there is not more outdoor space; the chairs constantly smelt of dog and their is an awkward turn into the property on a blind hill crest. I would not advise taking a large car.

The property was lovely, more spacious than expected. There were great high ceilings in the living room and it was decorated to a high standard throughout.

Hill House cottage was the perfect location from which to explore Southern England. The cottage is very well equipped and it is decorated beautifully. The owners are very pleasant. Hill House cottage was close to perfection.
Ms Sprott

This was a lovely cottage, a real home from home. Much more spacious than we were expecting, warm, comfortable, light and quiet, especially as it is situated on a main road. A great place to stay and explore the region.
