Brilliant location, shame about everything else
Spent two weeks in mid August here, first the positives.... the location is brilliant, easy access to the beach via the car park of the Seagull just around the corner, easy walk to Brean Leisure and splash park, pretty quiet even though it is directly opposite the entrance to Pontins. Unfortunately everything else about the accommodation was a real let down. It was filthy. To say that we had a later check in time due to allow for more cleaning to be done was a joke. The dust was thick everywhere. A used tissue, dental floss stick and finger nail residing in the additional bedding in the bed settee. Black mold adorned the bottom of the shower curtain. Blocked sink meant a flood which found its way into the accommodation downstairs. The shower curtain pole falls down if you close the curtain too quickly No blind in the bathroom - the broken fixings are there, just no blind. Kitchen was, well 'sticky' - rusty cheese grater, toaster, microwave, Don't look at the double mattress until you leave....ignorance is most certainly bliss! The bathroom installed is not the bathroom pictured, there is gap between then end of the bath and the wall - don't drop anything down there, The fan in the lounge, the blades are black with dirt and dust we didn't dare turn it on. What is really annoying is that with a little bit of decorating and a good clean it could be ideal. But reading the other reviews is seems we are not the first.

High price for budget accommodation
The location couldn?t be better as it's a fantastic area with plenty to visit .the apparent was quite dirty and we had photo proof , the bathroom and bedrooms were the only areas that looked to be cleaned unfortunately didn?t notice the manky double bed mattress until we stripped bedding ,to say we are in middle of a pandemic , the kitchen hasn?t seen a good clean for a while or the living room , a new bath has been fitted at quite a height and no anti slip mat or grab bar , so risky getting out of shower , shower curtain needs replacing black mildew . Hot water needed turning down as it was set at max which could have been serious burns had we not checked (should be regulated) .flooring noisy , decor very tired , not worth the money .

Shocking!
My hubby and I booked this flat as a last min break. We spent 2 hours cleaning the flat before we could feel comfortable. Mould around the bath. The bath panel falling off. The kitchen cupboards were very dirty. The toaster was rusty! One of the windows wouldnt close! And the front door not secure at all. No preparation was done in light of covid compared to other holiday lets.. Save your money and book elsewhere!
