Glebe Cottage is a wonderful all-ground-floor dwelling resting on the outskirts of Lochmaben in Scotland. There are two bedrooms including a super-king-size and a twin, both with zip/link features and serviced by a shared shower room, making the property suitable to sleep up to four people. There is also an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area.
To the front of the property is ample off-road parking and a lawned area, and to the rear is a gravelled area and a raise artificial grass area. Lochmaben is a great property for a family or group of friends seeking an idyllic getaway to Scotland.

A perfect hideaway
Wow! What can I say? This little cottage gave us a week of relaxation between house moves (and a ideal self-isolation place during the Covid-19 outbreak) in an ideal location to access the beautiful region of Dumfries & Galloway. The cottage is only 1 mile from Ae forest, ideal for keen bikers like me and my family, or just for walking.
The cottage was immaculate, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and everything had been considered. Very refreshing to work through a kitchen and find relevant utensils rather than hope they are there.
Outside, the hard landscaping has been well considered with artificial lawn to the rear, a large terrace to the front and gravel elsewhere, ensuring a clean and dry site, and that minimal dirt was brought into the house.
The only criticism I would make is that the driveway was difficult to drive into due to the depth of the gravel!
This is the best rental cottage we have ever taken. We have a lot of family who visit from overseas and I would definitely book this for them.
