A 17th Century Coaching Inn situated on the A619 a main artery through the popular market town of Bakewell. We offer our guests a choice of five en-suite double bedrooms and you can optionally include our freshly cooked breakfast featuring locally sourced produce. Breakfast orders are taken from between 08:30 until 09:30 only in our restaurant.

Bakewell is the only market town situated in the Peak District National Park. It is about thirteen miles southwest of Sheffield 31 miles southeast of Manchester and 30 miles north of the county town of Derby; nearby towns include Matlock to the south Chesterfield to the east and Buxton to the west. The pub has a central bar servery a raised 30 seater restaurant a lower lounge area a dog friendly taproom and a large outside garden area.
Food orders are from 12:00 until 19:30 (high season*) and 12:00 until 17:30 Sun-Thu and until 19:30 Fri-Sat (low season*). * We may stop serving food early and operate a reduced menu during very busy periods over Bank Holidays and during special events (e.g. Carnival Week) so please call ahead to check.
