Accommodation Description:

The Tavern Steakhouse and Lodge is a traditional pub situated in the centre of a busy market town. With a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere we serve a range of 3 regularly changing real ales as well as a variety of lagers and ciders. The Tavern and Steakhouse has recently opened to rave reviews.

Everyone welcome including well behaved dogs.

The Tavern Steakhouse and Lodge is under new ownership We have recently re-opened after an extensive refurbishment of our facilities including the creation of a fabulous 40 cover Steakhouse. We will be serving food throughout the day as well as evenings. Please note that breakfast is not provided. We often host live music events which is enjoyed by a wide variety of locals and tourists throughout the year.

We have 7 very clean and comfortable letting bedrooms; 5 are en-suite and are located on the first and second floors. Rooms 5 and 7 are small but cosy rooms with small windows and share a bathroom across the corridor. Unfortunately we do not serve breakfast here and so all reservations are room only.

However there are ample cafes just a short walk away which serve a great range of breakfasts. We are just 2 minutes away from the bus station and local shops and supermarkets. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and just a short drive to some lovely quiet beaches.

We are also pet friendly Our team of dedicated staff are very willing to help make your stay a lovely experience.
