Pendragon Castle photo, Pendragon Castle

Pendragon Castle stands in the idyllic countryside of the Mallerstang, south of Kirkby Stephen, looking over the River Eden. This small stone fortress dates to the 12th century and is associated with the myths of King Arthur. Though the castle is little more than ruins, the location is utterly wonderful.
