The Friends Meeting House has stood on Market Street in Charlbury since 1681. It has been remodeled several times over the centuries, but is still 17th century at its core. Quakers played a large role in the development of Charlbury, and several of the finest old houses in the town were owned by prominent Quakers at one time or another.
