What a lovely weekend away couldn?t of asked for better. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We had a free breakfast at the red kite cafe which was fantastic . So much to see and do around the area will definitely go back

Comfortable and totally relaxing
We booked this little holiday let as we had just gone through a very close family bereavement and were in need of a 'get away from it all'. What a little gem this was. The accommodation is deceiving from the outside and much larger inside than imagined. The equipment and facilities provided are excellent (including a washing machine and dishwasher). The bathroom is spacious and the power shower was excellent. The massive radiators in the lounge and bedroom are very efficient and kept us lovely and warm. As for the king sized bed - I can only say that this easily matched our own comfortable bed at home - we both slept like logs and by leaving the bedroom window slightly open at night it was a joy to be woken by the bleating of sheep in the morning. John was attentive and available whenever we needed him. Unfortunately there was a problem with the wifi in the accommodation whist we were staying but we found that we were able to pick this up from a signal at the cafe (which also provides free wife). All in all a lovely relaxing stay. Thank you also John for the free breakfast at your Red Kite cafe which was included with the booking - what a lovely treat.

We were met on arrival by the owner, who showed us around the cottage, was always helpful and friendly throughout and obviously a fantastic source of knowledge for the local area. His Red Kite Cafe at the end of the drive provided one of the best ever breakfasts we have ever had, so give it a go! Ty Twt was a warm and comfortable cottage, very clean throughout with ample crockery etc. required for our stay. We were very central for the beautiful area with many walks and the town of Aberystwyth only minutes away giving access to the coastal walks....fabulous. A totally relaxing holiday with fabulous views of the night sky as no light pollution.

Had an excellent holiday in a beautiful cottage, the scenery out of every window was lovely. It was very very clean, which in our eyes is a plus. Had lovely hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

Ty Twt is furnished to a very high standard and was very comfortable. It is just the right size for two people and we loved spending the week there. The bedroom windows look out onto the hill at the back of the house, so we had the pleasure of watching the lambs every morning. The holiday was relaxing, with lots of walking (and birdwatching). We also really enjoyed visiting Aberystwyth, which is just ten miles away, and Machynlleth. It is the perfect base from which to explore the mountains and the sea. The cottage owners are very friendly and welcoming, and we also enjoyed some lovely meals in their Red Kite cafe, which is close to the cottage. A wonderful week's break, thank you.
