A well-presented, detached bungalow, set in the Somerset hamlet of Parrett Works, just one mile from the historic village of Martock and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.

Radovas is a well-presented, detached bungalow, set in the Somerset hamlet of Parrett Works, just one mile from the historic village of Martock and can sleep eight people. This all ground floor cottage has two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, a bathroom, a shower room, a kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room with a gas fire and a garage with a utility area housing a sink and a shower for cleaning a dog, two small pool tables and a dartboard. Outside there is off road parking for three cars, lockable bike storage and an enclosed, lawned garden and patio with furniture. Radavas is a wonderful holiday base at any time of the year.

This could be a lovely holiday let but so much lets it down. The beds are awful and are in need of better beds, not ones with springs popping through the mattress. All the coving in every bedroom is cracked and millions of insects and flying are coming through it. Old telephone wires cut all around one of the bedrooms. Mouldy and Mel drew on the tiles in both bathrooms. There are no safety mats upon stepping out of the tiled step in the shower room. When you use the toilet at the furthest end of the bungalow, once you have pulled the chain the waste comes up through and into the bath so unhygienic. The children where unable to play and use the garden as there use a big sewage problem, the sewage backed up and overflowed onto the garden patio (just great during the warm weather whilst we were there). The sewage and pipe work in the garden is covered by broken paving stones. The so called garage/games room is a complete mess and it used as a storage room for the owners and it is a joke, things are thrown everywhere and so untidy, dusty and extremely dirty cobwebs everywhere. None of the bedding matches and was very damp. Locks on both bathroom do not work properly and you often were locked in. This is a very tired and dated holiday let and is in urgent need of a overhaul and revamp. The garden can do with a big clean and weeding.

Could be a good place
We used this cottage as a base for a cycling holiday for which it is the ideal location. But the cottage is a little tired. Certainly it was clean. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked. The garden is in a dreadful state. Weeds everywhere. The kitchen needs a review of equipment. It was not expensive.

The cottage was well furnished and we loved the Sky TV .
Miss Raylor

A home from home, it was comfortable and relaxed. The house was big enough for everyone without us being on top of one another; everyone could have their own space. The garden was perfect both for family and dog, it was secure and clean, with no evidence of other dogs. Liked that there were good, clear instructions on how to work items. We would recommend this bungalow to family and friends.
Mr Hill

We had a lovely warm welcome from caretaker who lives next door, was available if needed, but not intrusive. We chose this property because it was central the the area we wanted to explore. The bungalow was well equipped for our needs and has a lovely sun-trap private rear garden. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.
