An excellent break
We stayed here for a short break and it was excellent. The property was well equipped and catered well for all disabilities. It was spacious and the walk in shower was great. The property was well heated and very cosy. The owner was very helpful and you could also order a cooked breakfast at the B&B. Our stay here could not have been any better and we would definitely come here again.

A great weekend away!
A lovely, clean, well located cottage. We were greeted by the lovely Val who showed us around the cottage and recommended cycle/walk paths to us. The cottage location is perfect- rural however not too far from Monmouth centre (by car). We cycled on Peregrine's Path to Symonds Yat which is a must do! Great surrounding cycle networks near the cottage. Would love to return again!

Great Lodge and Fantastic Location
We have just come back from being in the lodge for one week. Well we loved it! The whole place was a delight and we found it very easy with a 6 month year old baby boy. There is so much do to in the area and beyond. Mrs Barrell was a delight and we will be highly recommending this place to friends and family. Thanks again for our first family trip as a 3, until next time Wales

Excellent, well equipped and lovely owner
We stayed here over the New Year period and it was perfect. A great location for walking in the Brecon Beacons and not far from Wye Valley & Forest Dean. Valerie made us feel really welcome. The cottage was cosy and the kitchen was well equipped with dishwasher. Good WiFi if you needed it although not much reception ( I was glad about this to be able to get away from it all) I would thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Superb easy access holiday rental with all facilities
My wife and I needed a one level place to stay. And we found this beautifully kept ground floor holiday let. Everything we needed for our stay . First of all we were shown around by Gerard and Val nothing too much trouble if you need anything just ask. We had a most enjoyable stay it was quiet and above all it was so lovely and clean. We saw Gerard and Val from time to time passing by carrying out the work on the farm always happy and smiling. Everything OK they asked do you need anything. We never needed a thing it was all there. Lovely shower, underfloor heating, really comfortable bed, loads of space, wood burner, internet access and rear garden with plenty of parking to the front altogether just ideal.
