Our amazing family weekend
We could see The Druids from the approaching road and all we could say was WOW!
This was a weekend that we had all waited 2 years for, we originally booked to celebrate Mum and Dads 50th anniversary but COVID put a stop to that with a full lockdown. We decided to book again and belatedly celebrate the 50th anniversary combined with my 50th birthday.
It was lovely for us all to finally be together and we couldn't have chosen a more perfect place.
The house is amazingly beautiful, the bedrooms and bathrooms are tastefully decorated and every room has its own unique feel with the beautiful furniture.
The annexe was perfect for my parents as they would have struggled in the main house up and down the stairs.
The kitchen seemed to be our main congregating point and felt very homely.
No one has complained of a bad back as beds were all comfortable.
Plenty of dishes, cutlery, cups, glasses etc, could do with more dishwasher tablets though.
It is such a big house to explore and every staircase and doorway leading somewhere leaves you amazed.
The grounds are lovely and safe and the toddlers have had a great time playing outside all weekend.
We are a family of 16 consisting of 4 generations, this weekend at The Druids is one that we will never forget and we have some fantastic photos and memories that will last forever.
