Amazing!!!
Wow - what an amazing little hideaway - completely away from it all. The only company was the alpaca's, sheep, goats and horses. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, immaculate inside with everything you need. When we arrived we had a homemade cake, loaf of bread and milk in the fridge. The hot tub is the icing on the cake - sitting back relaxing looking at the fabulous view. We will definitely be back. What a fantastic holiday :-)

An oasis of calm
Had a short stay at Dragon Lodge. Wonderful setting on a Mid Wales Farm with Alpacas, goats and sheep who come up to the lodge for a chat. The lodge was spotless with all amenities needed for a carefree stay. Nearby in the village is a good pub offering a range of food to cover all tastes. Last, but not least, is the welcome given by Julie and Kev and the care taken to make sure your stay is memorable.

Best peaceful hoilday ever
We had a fantastic stay. The lodge is beautiful and very well equipped. The hot tub is very relaxing. The animals are awesome, we really enjoyed feeding them and being visited by the chickens on the deck every morning. We really needed to recharge our batteries, this was the right place to do just that. Julie, the owner, was lovely. We were welcomed with bread and milk and a lively chocolate cake. We will definitely be booking gain and bringing the rest of the family and the grandchildren.

Absolutely amazing
If you are looking for peace and relaxation in the country with only alpacas, sheep and the odd chicken disturbing you, this is the perfect place. Spotlessly clean and in the most picturesque of surroundings. We stayed for 3 nights with our two children and could not have felt more relaxed or welcome. Julie is the perfect hostess and did everything she could to make our trip blissful. The local pub is a short walk away and did lovely food, and Newtown is a 15 minute drive - well worth a visit, the kids lived paddling in the stream.

Pure peace and tranquility
Stayed 25th sept-2nd October.
Nothing but good things to say about our stay.
Upon arrival we were in awe of the beauty of dragon lodge, on the table there was a loaf of bread, and a lovely chocolate cake, along with fresh milk in the fridge, courtesy of the owners Kev and Julie. Was a lovely touch.
Throughout the days were were there, I found I was finding more and more things as I sat looking around.
The hot tub was large, temp averaged around 39, obviously dropped when hood off but only by a couple of degrees.
Either kev or Julie checked the chemicals an levels each day to ensure it was all correct.
The purpose of our week away was to chill a bit, do a bit of walking, and a bit of sightseeing, in the end we were that impressed with the lodge and surroundings, the last few days we just sat an relaxed either in the hot tub, or in front of the woodburning stove, wood for fire supplied by kev.
The fields surrounding the lodges have sheep, goats, and horses in them, and the closest field houses the 3 llamas, they love biscuits, and will quite happily come to the balcony to bed fed said biscuits, we ventured into the fields one day, and Tom the llama was that excited for biscuits he reared up on Annettes back, she was a little shocked by this but we had been forewarned that they may, plus it was I no way being aggressive, merely playful an in search of biscuits. Annette was not injured in any way, an I found it was one of the funniest things I have seen for a while.
The lodges are far enough away from society that you don't hear road noise, but close enough (village is a mile walk away) that you can easy get supplies.
The main area (newtown) is around 15 mins drive away an has everything u need (morrisons/ tescos/ lidl plus kfc, maccys etc).
When we arrived, we noticed an egg chair at the other lodge, I mentioned to kev that annette loves sitting in them, the next day we had been out an when we arrived back, there was one there waiting for us, a beautiful touch, nothing was too much trouble.
Would like to say thank you to Kev and Julie for your hospitality and advice on local area and things to do, we will be staying again sometime in the near future.
Look forward to staying at dragon lodge again.
