RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Large House, Good Location. Very poor facilities.
I'm not the lead booker but I have stayed here. It was a Hospital and in many respects still feels like it: there are still many artefacts in place from it's previous life and perhaps that's quirky. Garden is a bit messy but not too bad. Cleanliness was reasonable though the coffee machine had not been touched for some time as there was a mouldy filter bag in it! Wi-Fi was only available in the lounge (although that is stated when you book) but perhaps an investment in some extenders might be an idea- esp for the price per week they charge! The main issue is with the en-suite facilities which were appalling. Many are still the original hospital wet rooms and therefore purely clinical. Looks aside, none of the showers worked - a very small trickle of luke warm water meant they were unusable. After a day at the beach there's no choice and it was entirely miserable. No hot water in the sinks either. It is not possible that the cleaners/owners/maintenance people would not know about the issues with the plumbing - so they must be choosing to ignore it. Given that there are very few reviews about it - they're getting away with it. Location is very handy for exploring North Wales but It was not one of those houses you're sorry to leave at the end unfortunately and I'm sure the same money could be better spent elsewhere.

Unclean not up to standard
From outside, property looked exactly like the photos on the website. When we entered the living room,it was very spacious, with a musty smell. We entered the kitchen to place our fridge items in fridge and the fridge was very small, 3-4 fridge shelves, 3 freezer compartments.Clearly was not a fridge for large parties which the website advertises it could accommodate. The fridge shelves and fridge was dirty and needed washing, which we did. Same with freezer. We found mould underneath coffee machine, a mouldy plate in the dishwasher. Everything was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned. The dining area was spacious however, chairs and tables needed cleaning. The floor had not been cleaned. There were cobwebs in many corners, a regular clean would have removed cobwebs. The bedrooms were nothing like what was advertised. They were, dark, tiny and smelled very musty.cobwebs in all corners with massive spiders,it was gross. The "en-suites" which are not shown on the website were the worst! They were narrow, old, and very stale smelling. Our bedroom didn't have a lock on the door. The shower had spiders web and was a trickle with no extractor fan. There was an awful smell near the sink. There were no dustbins in any bathrooms. It was quite clear that this property had not been cleaned and is not suitable as holiday accommodation and naturally we were disappointed.

The perfect place for a big group
This property was perfect for me and 21 of my friends (all early 20's). We came Friday - Monday and the property is enormous. Every one had somewhere to sleep and their own bathroom and the rooms were spotless. The kitchen / dining area is enormous and there's more than enough fridge / freezers to have a shop delivered to the property. Can?t fault the place or the owners at all as the two women we did meet upon leaving were so so lovely. We're thinking of making this trip an annual thing to get us all together because we loved the weekend so much. 100% would Recommend.
