The Oakland is situated in the centre of the riverside town South Woodham Ferrers within easy reach of the A127 A12 and M25. We have 34 en-suite rooms all comfortably furnished with flat screen TV's and tea/coffee making facilities. Whether you are staying with us for business or pleasure we offer a range of bedrooms from single rooms to family rooms.

We are conveniently situated close to Chelmsford Rayleigh Bradwell Burnham On Crouch and Southend On Sea. London Liverpool Street and Stratford are less than a hour away on the train from South Woodham Ferrers station. There is limited car parking at the back of The Oakland However 50 metres away is Tylers Ride car park situated in front of South Woodham police station.

This car park is free. The Oakland bar is a great place to relax during the day and evening after a hard days work with darts pool table games machines jukebox and TV's showing all major sporting events. Friday and Saturday evenings are usually lively at The Oakland with music until 1am.

We have 34 en-suite rooms all comfortably furnished with flat screen TV's and tea/coffee making facilities. Whether you are staying with us for business or pleasure we offer a range of bedrooms from single rooms to families. Complimentary Wifi is available throughout The Oakland.

Our rooms come with a complimentary breakfast consisting of juice toast cereal tea coffee and a full English breakfast. We have a Chinese restaurant on site separate to the hotel bar. Its is a very relaxing contemporary restaurant however if you prefer to eat in our bar we can supply cutlery and crockery. Equally you may purchase any take aways locally and eat them in the bar.
