The Wheatsheaf Pub formerly the West Beckham Manor house dates back over 400 years and was converted to a public house in 1984. The first floor of this lovely manor has been converted into a B&B in 2016 with comfortable rooms full of character. Being a traditional English Country Pub our motto is "Dogs horses and Muddy Boots welcome!" Our pub welcomes dogs and we have several dog friendly rooms on offer where you can enjoy a well-earned holiday with your four-legged friends.

We offer 5 luxury B&B double king en-suite bedrooms situated on the first floor of The Wheatsheaf manor and a cottage full of character. - AQUA and NERO are contemporary en-suite rooms with king size beds that do not allow pets. - SIENNA is our budget standard dog friendly double bed with a small en-suite and shower cubicle.

- MARINE is a very spacious suite consisting of a bedroom with a king size bed along a 40' wall mounted TV an original Victorian feature fireplace and an en-suite bathroom, with an interconnecting door that leads to a living room of large proportions with a sofa that can be converted into a bed (extra charges apply for a third occupant) tub chairs and a wall mounted 40"TV a desk with tea/coffee making facilities. This suite is ideal for a couple in search of a tranquil weekend in the beautiful English countryside and wishes to have extra living space to unwind and relax. Marine is dog friendly.

- GARDEN COTTAGE is a tranquil comfortable one bedroom cottage with garden. It has been fully renovated and marketed on 31 December 2017. When you book a B&B room you will be served our delicious full English Breakfast with our famous double yolk eggs in "Foodie Bouquet" Tearoom.

We just want to make sure you are aware of our opening hours: We are closed on Tuesdays and the pub opens Monday Wednesday to Saturday from 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm. However the closure on Tuesday does not affect your breakfast service which is between 9:00 am and 10:00 am but the pub will not be open for food or drinks throughout the day. We are open 7 days during the months of July and August.
