Accommodation Description:

Around 8 miles from Spalding The Mansion House Hotel is centrally located on Holbeach High Street within 30 minutes drive of Boston and Kings Lynn. This Lincolnshire hotel has a restaurant and bar and offers free parking and WiFi.

The Mansion House is thought to have been built as early as 1681 although its style is that of the Queen Anne period (1702-1714). It's best known as the birthplace of Sir Norman Angell the Nobel Peace Prize Winner of 1933 who was born in the house in 1872. The Blue Plaque to the right of the door celebrates this famous man.

Today this fine historic building has been sympathetically restored to a high standard as a modern hotel and 1252 Bistro Bar. The hotel offers a high standard of accommodation combining both the history of the building with the best of modern technology including Wi-Fi Internet Access and Satellite Television. Inside you'll find a high standard of accommodation with most of the tastefully decorated rooms en-suite.

The rooms feature stripped pine furniture coupled with flat screen televisions and a variety of baths or showers.
