Welcome to Zarina’s traditional tea room in the beautiful village of Kettlewell in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. We are a small family run business with a big emphasis on home made quality food. Zarina is a traditionalist and does not like processed or convienience foods.
When people come to Kettlewell they want to relax and take in the atmosphere. Here at Zarina’s you can read the daily paper in peace and gaze out of the large front window out onto the fells. Walkers and cyclists are very welcome, we have a stone flagged floor so muddy footwear is not a problem.
We also cater for special diets and have an extensive range of gluten and dairy free foods available to eat in or take away. Vegetarians are also catered for. More recently Zarina found teapigs real leaf tea in a temple, quality tea without the mess.
These have proved to be a good seller both in the tea room and in the shop. We also sell Bracken Hill preserves, everything they make tastes delicious. Zarina is a strong supporter of the Calendar girls and has always helped them sell their goods from the tea room.
All the money raised goes directly to leukaemia research. With Kettlewell being the setting of the film it is the ideal place for us to sell the goods. So far we have taken over £13,000 for Leukaemia research.
In summer sit outside in our tea garden, which catches the sun all day. Licensed to sell alcohol, and open for evening meals in summer. So when you are in Kettlewell why not pay us a visit whether you want a full lunch or just a light afternoon tea, Our friendly staff will be happy to serve you.
We now offer two rooms bed and breakfast, so if you want to stop longer than lunch why not book to stay the night, or even the week.
