Travel information for Doune Castle
Monty Python fans are familiar with Doune Castle, which appeared in the film of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The castle was built in the 14th century to a courtyard design, and features a 100 foot high gatehouse with a well-preserved Lord's Hall.
