Travel information for Raglan Castle
The moated fortress of Raglan is one of the last major castles built in Wales, begun in 1435 by William ap Thomas. But Thomas's superb creation was built on the ruins of a fortification dating to at least the 13th century. It has been the home of the Earls of Worcester for centuries.
