There's always a warm welcome at the Crown Hotel Lochmaben. Run by the Elliott family for more than 30 years The Crown Hotel is the perfect family-friendly venue for meals and accommodation which is based in an annexe to the hotel facing a large garden and views over Kirk Loch. The bar/lounge is full of atmosphere and friendly faces ready to welcome you.

There is a pool table and darts board and an extensive fully-enclosed beer garden overlooking Kirk Loch which has a children's play area. There is a small dining room and customers are most impressed with the tasty meals served there especially the roast beef that melts in your mouth. Meals are also served in the garden and the barbecue is brought out (weather permitting of course).

There is plenty to do and see in and around Lochmaben and the hotel is just 4 miles from the M74 and 8 miles from Dumfries. The Elliott's look forward to welcoming you to The Crown Hotel soon! As its name suggests Lochmaben has no fewer than three small lochs surrounding it giving an opportunity to enjoy wildlife fishing and sailing! Lochmaben is a good centre for walkers with eight miles of scenic paths surrouding it.

For cyclists there is a good network of quiet minor roads running through the beautiful Dumfriesshire countryside linking a series of small villages and other small towns.
