Phil and Barbara Brown welcome you to their home and the 4* Barn Bed and Breakfast at Ty'n Cellar Farm Margam. Winners of the best B&B Swansea bay and Gower 2010 and 2012 We were awarded The Best B&B Swansea Bay and Mumbles area 2010 by the Swansea Bay Tourism Awards. Stay in our grade 2 listed barn that has been lovingly restored and converted to provide a 6 bedroom bed and breakfast.
We offer a variety of accommodation to meet all needs.
There is a BBQ and a patio sitting area in the paddock. This has been and especially constructed to enable all guest including wheel chair and those less able to enjoy it. It has easy access from the car park.
There is a secure steel container lock up for the storage of bikes and golf clubs during your stay. A purpose built bike wash has been built for washing down those dirty cycles. Also a drying room for all your wet kit is provided.
The dining room is situated within the Victorian part of the Farmhouse and still retains most of its original Victorian features. The path leading from the Barn to the farmhouse has been constructed using original flagstones either from around the farm or sourced locally. All the paths have been constructed to make them wheelchair friendly.
There is a picnic bench situated on the patio area for guests to use plus table and chairs out side the main access door. There is a strictly no smoking policy within any of the buildings on the farm but guests may smoke on the patio area where a receptacle is provided for the cigarette ends. The Six bedrooms that are in the barn are comfortably furnished to a very high standard and are all ensuite.
All rooms have thermostatically controlled centrally heating they are all equipped with freeview HD TVs and have tea and coffee making facilities as well as a hair drier. We offer secure off road private parking for all our guests with a separate parking for disabled guests with easy accessibility to the barn from the car park. There is an iron and ironing board available for guests to use on request.
Access to Broadband via wi-fi is available in the barn.A travel cot bedding and high chair are available. Please ask when booking. We cater for all dietary needs providing we are notified at the time of booking.
There is a high chair available in the dining room.
