SUPERB ACCOMMODATION WITH FAR REACHING VIEWS CATERING CAN BE PROVIDED AT EXTRA CHARGE This luxurious lodge was built in 2010. Set amongst 8 acres of fields and farmland Sharpenton Lodge is situated on the edge of the village of Moorlinch with far reaching views over the RSPB nature reserve and land of special scientific interest on the Somerset Levels. On a clear day you can see for miles around.

Moorlinch itself has a 12th century church and craft centre which offers pottery and glass blowing as well as a family pub providing good food. You will be well placed to explore the area including the towns of Glastonbury with its Tor and Abbey shop at the Clarks retail village in Street or visit Cheddar Gorge and the Cathedral City of Wells. There are many National Trust properties in the locality or you can enjoy a walk over the Quantock Hills all this within an hours drive.

A little further out lie the historic City of Bath and Exmoor National Park. There are several sandy and dramatic coastal beaches to the north and south such as Lyme Regis Sidemouth and Burnham-On-Sea. If all of this is too much why not relax in the enclosed garden with a BBQ and a glass of wine or take in the views from the covered balcony or the well placed decked patio.

Pre booking required for further details please call.This stunning accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: upstairs 1 large double with flatscreen TV covered balcony area with seating and far reaching countryside views and 1 small twin room (single bed with pull out full size single bed under).

On the ground floor are 2 further double bedrooms both with patio doors leading out onto the covered decked walk-way around the lodge where you can sit and relax. Shower room: large with walk in double shower WC and heated towel rail. On the ground floor family bathroom with shower over bath WC and heated towel rail.

Lounge/kitchen/diner: large open-plan area with comfortable sofas easy chairs TV with surround-sound DVD iPod docking station and large dining table. Kitchen area well-equipped with induction hob double oven fridge/freezer microwave washing machine and many useful extras. Outside: to the front is a patio area with seating.

 To the rear is a seating area with BBQ. Behind the lodge are large lock up farm sheds which can be used for storing bicycles etc. Amenities: ample parking to the front and side of the lodge.

Bed linen towels electric and under floor heating included. Seasonal heating surcharge applicable £25 per week payable from 1 October - 1 April direct to the owner on arrival. There are 2 cots and highchairs available in the property.

Regret no pets. No smoking in the property. Location: 10 minute drive from Millfield School ideal for parents visiting children boarding there.

Less than a 30 minute drive from the Glastonbury Festival. Central for visiting the Bridgwater Carnival in November. Beach 20 minutes drive shop 2 miles pub walking distance.
